The Bridge Gapper Ministry consists of all Church of Christ members at Genessee Avenue who have not yet reached their 60th birthday. Those members aged 60 years and up are automatically considered members of the "Golden Wisdom" ministry. The purpose of the Bridge Gappers Ministry is to provide a bridge over the infamous "Generation Gap" between Senior Citizens and younger generations. This bridge consists of all forms of help and assistance, from offering a Senior a ride to an appointment, to assistance with housework or meals, or simple fellowship. During church fellowship meals, Bridge Gappers may offer to get and serve plates for Seniors and provide other functions as needed.
Bridge Gappers also accompany Seniors on annual trips to the National Association of Celebrated Seniors (NACS) conventions and other places. They offer the Seniors help with luggage, accommodations, medications, and getting around the convention.
Members of the Bridge Gappers Ministry are also the primary planners for the "Golden Wisdom Seniors Banquet". This includes obtaining a venue, planning the meal and the program, as well as ensuring that all Seniors have transportation to and from the event. Special recognition is given to new Golden Wisdom members as they reach their 60th birthdays, and members who have reached the age of 80.
Bridge Gappers hold independent fund raisers to ensure that the banquet and other events are adequately funded.

Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry and will deliver you.
